A/Prof Rob Commons
A/Prof Rob Commons is a clinician researcher, working as an infectious diseases and general medicine physician at Grampians Health Ballarat and Principal Research Fellow at Menzies School of Health Research in Darwin who works closely with the team of data scientists at qMalaria. His research focuses on ways to optimise malaria treatment, including through clinical trials, pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic studies and data synthesis approaches. Rob is the Vivax Theme Lead at the WorldWide Antimalarial Resistance Network (WWARN), based at the University of Oxford, and has been a World Health Organization advisor for malaria treatment guidelines.
